Tolma / Terms

A few ground rules.

Terms of Service for the Tolma website, waitlist and early-access assistant.

Last updated 29 September 2026

Tolma is a product of Zindex Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 09390031. Our registered office is 28 St. Georges Terrace, Herne Bay, England, CT6 8RH. Contact us at support@gettolma.com. These terms apply when you join the waitlist or use Tolma. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

1. Who can use Tolma

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into these terms. Give us accurate information and only connect accounts, provide information, or instruct actions you are authorised to use. If acting for an organisation, you must have its permission. Keep control of the phone number and accounts you use with Tolma, and tell us promptly if they are compromised.

2. The waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist requests an invitation; it does not guarantee a place, a launch date or continued availability. Joining is free and does not start a paid subscription. We will make any future pricing clear and obtain your agreement before charging for Tolma. Your carrier’s normal messaging or data charges may apply.

Early-access features may change, be limited or be withdrawn. We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the service, but cannot promise that every task will succeed or that the service will always be available.

3. What the assistant does

Tolma uses AI to interpret your messages, find information, prepare content and carry out supported tasks. It is software, not a human assistant. Features depend on your access, connected services and the permissions you grant. You should check important facts, generated documents and action details before relying on them.

It is not an emergency service or a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for decisions that could cause serious harm or have legal or similarly significant effects on someone.

4. Connected accounts and authorised actions

You decide which accounts to connect. You authorise us to access and process information within those permissions to provide the tasks you request. Gmail reading is read only. Calendar access can add or change an event only after you approve it. Sending email from your address is a separate, optional permission: the assistant drafts each email and sends it only after you approve the exact recipients, subject and text, and you are responsible for the emails you approve. Creating or updating supported Google files is also a separate permission and requires approval in the assistant.

A request to research options does not authorise a purchase. Where an action requires approval, review the specific destination, amount, content and conditions before approving. A general conversation or a waitlist signup does not grant unrestricted authority to make commitments for you. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your instructions and for ensuring you may share the information involved.

External services may have their own restrictions and terms. We cannot guarantee access to every website or integration. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings; deletion of previously stored data is a separate request described on our Your Data page.

5. Bookings and payments

Any actual third-party purchase or booking is between you and the merchant, and is subject to the merchant’s disclosed price, availability, cancellation and refund terms. Tolma does not become the seller by helping with a task. We must present material purchase details and obtain the required approval before committing to a supported purchase.

Agentcard checkout is currently offered only for sandbox testing. Sandbox approval does not enable live shopping, and the waitlist does not collect card details. Do not assume an order is complete until you receive a merchant confirmation. Any future live payment feature will disclose its availability, spending limits, approval process and applicable provider terms before use.

6. Your content and our service

You keep your rights in the information you provide. You grant us only the rights needed to process, store and transmit it to provide the service you request, maintain its security and comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy. These terms do not grant us a general licence to publish your private content or train general-purpose AI models on it.

You may use the outputs we provide, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. AI outputs may not be unique or eligible for intellectual property protection. We retain rights in Tolma’s software, branding and original website materials.

7. Messages and preferences

The waitlist checkbox asks for permission to contact your number with a Tolma early-access invitation by WhatsApp or SMS. We do not treat that consent as permission for unrelated marketing. Withdraw by contacting support@gettolma.com and including your number. Once using the assistant, you receive replies and task-related updates associated with your requests. Contact us to stop these or close your account. Delivery depends on external messaging providers.

8. Acceptable use and suspension

Follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements or material breaches of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. You can stop using Tolma at any time and request deletion of your information.

9. Responsibility when something goes wrong

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for problems caused solely by events outside our reasonable control. This does not excuse our own failures in selecting or operating the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Third-party merchant terms do not remove rights you have against us for our own service.

10. Changes, complaints and applicable law

We may update these terms as Tolma develops. Material changes will be brought to your attention before they apply where required. New paid features require a separate clear agreement to pricing; a change to these terms does not itself authorise a charge.

Please contact support@gettolma.com with any complaint so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home courts that apply under law, including in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
